    Ask your inner child, \u201cWhat would feel fun or comforting right now?\u201d The answer might be beautifully simple. If they felt unheard, give yourself ten minutes of uninterrupted time to journal. If they craved comfort, wrap yourself in a soft blanket and simply rest. If their creativity was stifled, buy a small set of watercolors and just play with the colors, with no goal in mind. Consciously make time for activities that have no purpose other than pure joy. This teaches your inner child that life is safe, and that joy is your natural state.<\/p>\n
